Fire Training

Today was fire training. We all had to go in the simulator one at a time. When we got in it was filled with smoke to the point that you couldn't see anything! We had to walk low and follow the emergency lights down the aisle to find the point of the fire. On our way there was a distressed passenger that we had to calm down. When we found the fire we extinguished it with the halon, found the exit, opened it and climbed out. Pretty intense but also very realistic for training!

Adventures in Babysitting

Here we are at Wakulla Springs in Tallahassee. The two older boys I babysit are out of town so the three of us had a nice relaxing week. Wakulla stays at about 60 degrees (too cold for me!) If you look behind us in the pictures you can see the high dive that they have. Im guessing that it is about 30 feet up and all three of us jumped off twice!
