This year for the tacky sweater party we went to bellingrath gardens for the best Christmas lights I have ever seen! I had a great time since only a few of us went and we really got to catch up on everything. After, we went to eat at the olive garden (the O.G) & sometimes I would forget what I was wearing & wonder why people were staring at me!

On Christmas Eve this year Mom & Aunt Lupe made their first tamales! They turned out to be very good even though they had never made them before. I also put up a picture of Moms famous "sweet baby Jesus" nativity scene. Also, Maddie will be happy to know that Aunt Lupe loved her Christmas picture. She waited until Christmas morning to open it & she knew that it was from Maddie. Have a Merry Christmas!!!

Over Thanksgiving break my friends & I couldn't resist going to the beach! I have always appreciated seeing the water ever since I moved away from it.

I know that it seems that all my posts are about football but that is all we do on the weekends in fall! We went to Atlanta for the Florida State vs. Georiga Tech game. I was sad that we didn't run into the real housewives!!! Even though it can be scary I really like Atlanta & Im thinking about applying for teaching jobs around the area when I graduate (teachers in GA. make almost $10,000 more a year than FL teachers!) I wouldn't stay forever but I think it would be fun while I am young =) I know you lived there Lori so I need your opinion!

halloween

So, when I was about 70 miles outside of Tallahassee I realized that I had forgotten my Britney Spears outfit! So when I had about one hour to get to the halloween party I went to wal mart and made this toga. I thought that it was on ok outfit for being so last minitue and I was impressed with my skill. But, when Mom saw my pictures she informed me that it was horrible! oh well, at least I had something & I still had lots of fun....

I wish that I would have taken more pictures but here are pictures from Jordans sisters wedding. It was so pretty, classic, and nice. If my camera was better you would be able to see that the sun was going down over the ocean at the reception. Weddings are turning out to be my favorite events to attend haha.

horror nights

For halloween we went down to Universal Studios Orlando for the halloween horror nights. It was very scary! They had haunted houses all over but still some of the normal rides open as well. Since I am a big chicken we mostly rode rides. There were also scare zones that you had to walk through to get to things. When you are in one you are open game for the actor to follow and scare you!! The worst was when we were walking and a guy with a chain saw quitely followed and started the saw up behind us.

October 1st is Mom's birthday and I wish I could be home to celebrate! Mom, I hope that you have a wonderful day and take some time to relax!!I just wanted to you to know that you mean so much to me. I can't wait to be home on the weekend of Oct 10th to celebrate yours and Dads birthday with the family. love you!!

jacksonville trip

Every year Florida State has a game in Jacksonville. This year we played Colorado University & we won! Since Jacksonville is only 2 hours away, its fun to get away for a mini vacation. It is also nice to have a seminole game in an NFL statium! We had amazing seats where we could see all the players clearly. Jordan, Kelly, Kyle and I had a great time watching football, eating at new resturants, & shopping.

first game

We had our first FSU game against Western Carolina this past weekend. The most exciting thing is that we won 68 to 0!! We started the day off by tailgating on campus with lots of good food and the dizzy bat game. It was extreamly hot outside but it was worth it. When the game started it began raining and the team went back and the game was postponed for 30 min. After the wait, the seminoles scored on the first play! I am extreamly excited for what seems like a good football season!
